You might be thinking, "Zaina, a zoo, Really?", But, this one is very dear to us. Our first official date was at this zoo.
When looking up "things to do in Dallas" on of the first thing to show up is the Dallas botanical garden. However, i recommend going to the Fort Worth botanical gardens, and specifically visiting the Japanese Garden.
No, it's not just fruit and vegetables. It is a lot more! Have some delicious food while shopping for many different things.
Don't forget to try some street tacos at Taqueria La Ventana!
And for my skyscrapers fans, You can spot this one while you are on an airplane! Go up the Reunion tower for a phenomenal view. Tickets range between 20$ to 40$.
You can also dine at their fancy restaurant, Crown Block.
Don't forget to pay a visit to JF Kennedy memorial plaza, a 15 minute walk from the reunion tower.

This is not your typical museum. It is an out of this world immersive and interactive experience for all ages.
Afterwards, you can shop at the grapevine mills, go for a picnic at Grapevine lake, go to the grapevine historical downtown (also know as the Christmas capitol of Texas!), or spend the day at the incredible Gaylord Texan Resort.
Yes, i know, you're in Texas you want BBQ. This is the BEST BBQ you will ever have.
My mouth is watering thinking about this place. Pro tip: get the burnt ends, and if you are dining at the place don't pass on the peach cobbler. Top notch!!!!
Korean? Japanese? Hibachi? I got you covered.
